Singapore, October 2025—SCDA Architects marks its 30th anniversary with SCDATHIRTY: Beyond Boundaries, a commemorative exhibition to be held at the National Design Centre, Singapore, from 26 to 30 November 2025. The exhibition traces the evolution of SCDA's design philosophy and practice over three decades—across scales, typologies, and geographies.
The exhibition reflects SCDA's continual refinement of its architectural toolkit—an adaptable language developed through the firm's research into high-density living, from private dwellings to complex urban projects across diverse geographies and climates. Guided by enduring spatial principles, SCDA approaches design as a total work of art, synthesising architecture, interiors, landscape, and object-making into a singular language that creates holistic and sustainable spatial experiences. Through models, drawings, photography, and film, the exhibition reveals a humanist approach in which disciplines converge to shape a unified expression of form, material, and atmosphere.
In conjunction with the exhibition, SCDA will also launch its fifth monograph. The book offers an in-depth reflection on the firm's work from 2015 to 2025, capturing its continued exploration of light, space, and materiality in projects across the world.
