SCDATHIRTY: Beyond Boundaries — Chengdu

Chengdu, May 2026—SCDATHIRTY: Beyond Boundaries has concluded its presentation in Chengdu, China. Held at 蔭蓝湖滨艺术中心 (Azure Lakeside Arts Centre) from 23 April to 14 May 2026, the exhibition marked SCDA’s first major showing in mainland China—bringing the firm’s three-decade body of work to new audiences across the region.

The exhibition—comprising models, drawings, photography, and film—traced SCDA’s continual refinement of a spatial language developed across five global offices. From private residences to complex hospitality and urban projects, the presentation in Chengdu offered a comprehensive view of the firm’s humanist approach to design: the synthesis of architecture, interiors, landscape, and object-making into a unified expression of form, material, and atmosphere.
